The Beginning


Since there hasn't been a devlog yet, here's an addendum to everything that's happened so far.

The whole project started as a small hobby until it eventually became an after-work activity. I spent weeks programming a seed-based level generator designed to fill the map with different biomes, special rooms, enemies and secrets. When this was finished, the player was integrated and with him a chunk loading system to save performance and ensure a smooth game flow. After many weeks of bug fixing, the weapon system was later integrated and is currently being further expanded.

At the moment, enemies are being integrated into additional biomes, additional weapons are being included and a “tech demo” is being prepared that will be released later and should result in early access.
